(English-language synopsis)
A poetic Peruvian masterpiece! Paloma de Papel is a bittersweet coming-of-age story set in the majestic Andes. Juan (Antonio Callirgos) lives an idyllic childhood on the shores of Lake Titicaca until he is kidnapped and forced to join the "Shining Path" guerillas. Skillfully directed by soap opera star Fabrizio Aguilar, and featuring breathtaking cinematography, Paloma de Papel is a compelling portrait of child soldiers in today's world.
