Set in Cuba at the beginning of the 19th century, Roble de Olor tells a story inspired by the lives of Cornelio Souchay, a German merchant recently arrived on the island, and Ursula Lambert, a freed Black slave from Haiti. Despite being from such different cultures, and the social and racial barriers that separate them, a strong attraction arises, and thus a tale of love challenges the taboos and power structures of their time. Starring Lia Chapman, Jorge Perugorria (Strawberry & Chocolate, Guantanamera) and Ruben Breñas.

For mature audiences.
