While investigating a recent violent crime, a pair of macho private detectives pose as a gay couple to gain access to the world of doña Josefina, “la Señora Open Mind” a shady and perverted wealthy widow whose summer residence is legendary for scandal and debauchery. A well-crafted black comedy with lots of death, dementia and macho camping it up. Hermosillo, who is Mexico's first openly gay filmmaker, also directed the groundbreaking 1986 film Doña Herlinda y su Hijo. One of the most successful Mexican directors of the last few decades, Hermosillo is considered to be Mexico's counterpart to Pedro Almodovar.

For mature audiences.
