Paco (Debora Falabella) and Tonho (Roberto Bomtempo) star as two young Brazilians living illegally in New York in an abandoned warehouse space. Tonho is shy and works hard to send money to his family back home. Paco is a tough, streetsmart female rapper who has eyes on the big time and won’t let anything or anyone get in her way. When the INS picks up Tonho, their young lives are thrown off balance. Tensions, frustrations, romance and different ideas of the American dream explode in this powerhouse film based on Plinio Marcos’ renowned play. Winner of Best Director, Best Actress and Best Screenplay at the 35th Brasília Film Festival.

For mature audiences.
